The Women’s Interactive Network (WIN) Fall luncheon will take place on September 20th at Newberry Hall in Aiken. WIN is dedicated to creating success for business women. WIN’s goal is to get women connected, sharing, learning and growing together. It encourages women to do business together, refer business to each other and empowers them to be their very best. Throughout the year WIN hosts network lunch meetings, training seminars – including leadership training, after hour’s network events, and more! WIN’s motto is: “ONE WOMAN CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE, BUT TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE OUR WORLD!” Wonderful things happen when women work together! By collaborating, they can all move forward to
With great delight, The Aiken Center for the Arts announces the privilege of hosting Taos, New Mexico artist Jan Haller, who will teach a five-day process painting workshop, “Brushes on Paper: Tending the Creative Fire.” This workshop will begin on Friday, November 8th and continue through Tuesday, November 12th, running from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. “Brushes on Paper” presents an opportunity for anyone who desires to unearth and explore inner creative impulses and learn how to bring these forward in a uniquely personal, engaging and freeing manner. Jan’s passion for painting is rooted in the creative process and it is this process that she will be sharing. Jan first
Partnerships are sometimes like marriages – some make it; some don’t. Over the summer my business partnership split up, and I am happily publishing Bella on my own now. Getting this first solo issue out has been difficult, but at the same time it has exceeded my expectations. Once again I have received an overwhelming amount of support from the community with comments like “You got this!” to “Let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do to help you out.” Bella has been everything I thought it would be, and I have been connecting with the community just as I hoped I would! That partnership is working! Back
